Waiting day!!!

Today is bonding moment of my hubby and my baby. They stroll in the mall, going to arcade, where maki love to play there very much. While, I'm here in the office waiting for them to fetch me and we are going to "Puregold" to buy groceries for this coming week.

I finished already all the things that i needed to do here in the office, tomorrow is another day to do other things here again in the office. This week is very stressful week.

It's time to go. My hubby and maki are here in the office already.

Many Things!!!

As a busy person like me, there are many things to do, But i need to balance my time to give attention to all the things i need to do.

I need to manage my time, but how? Maybe i need to take down notes all the things that i needed to do, i think that will remind me.

Last September 21, 2010 that was my hubby's birthday, we just celebrated it with a movie date - we watched despicable me, then afterwards we just bought a cake. Cake is one of maki's favorite.

We have a lot of activities this coming October 2010. Hoping that i can attend on those activities. To enumerate those activities are the following; October 8 will be our family reunion in Mariveles Bataan, Our church anniversary this coming October 10 and of course my baby's 3rd birthday, whew! Those things that makes me busy this octorberfest...i love it!!!

Sunday School!!!

Yesterday we went to church. At first, maki was so amaze when the children’s choir showed their presentation. I asked him if he want to be like them, maki said “yes mommy”. After the presentation they invited all the kids to go down to attend the Sunday school. So we went down to the play house. Maki was so tame, and he always beside me, I keep on asking him why you’re so very shy, why you don’t mingle with other kids. I just thought that was the first time that maki attended some sort of schooling. Maybe next week I will try that maki overcome those fear, shyness and everything.

Every night we have a story telling, I just ask first what happened to him the whole day, and then I will tell a story about our family, most often about maki. Now, I will include also about his schooling every Sunday, I think It will help him to realize what is the importance to be with other kid to socialize.

I just thinking what will happen tomorrow? Tomorrow is the birthday of my hubby, I keep practicing maki to sing happy birthday for his daddy. I am planning to cook some of his favorite food, like spaghetti, vegetable salad, some fish, cake (maki’s request). I hope it will happen despite that I am going to the office tomorrow. Daddy will spend his day with maki tomorrow because he is on leave from his work for two days.

Fever...

Fever…

For all working mommies, getting nannies are the best, to act as mommy when we are not around. Just like me, I need ate Lanie to take good care of my son maki, unfortunately she got fever last Wednesday. That was my big problem…the solution…I brought my son in the office. On the next day, ate Lanie still sick, so I needed to take a leave in the office to stay with my son in our house, at that day also maki have fever in the afternoon.

I hurriedly got the paracetamol, so that his fever will go down, imagine 38.9 was his temperature. We are about to bring him in his pedia…but my mom told me to just observe first his temperature.

Despite of having a fever, maki is still hyper.

I will take this opportunity also to thank maki’s pedia, because she is so accommodating. I just text her to inform her about the situation of maki, then she advice me to just continue give him a paracetamol and carbocistiene for his cough.

Hoping that this week maki will be ok so that we can bring him at the park again.
And maki needs more energy because we have a lot to do for these coming days. We have to attend reunion of our family, the anniversary of our church and we need to prepare for his 3rd birthday. But first, we need to celebrate our daddy’s birthday.

Pagbabago

“The only permanent in life is change”; what a phrase! but it is very meaningful to me. There are a lot of changes that happen to me, one thing is now that I am writing like this, I never did this way, I am not fond on writing stories or anything especially about my life, but I hope it will be a big change to me and it will give me a new door to pursue and to experience.

But the story that I will write is not about me but instead about my younger brother. He is now a 2nd year college. Since he started studying, we felt so disappointed to him. When he was in elementary grade, he did not showed interest on his study, his grade was very low, despite those low grades, he graduated in elementary and hoping that in his high school days will change his performance, hoping that he will get high grades.

On his high school days, it seems that the way he studied in elementary was also happening on his high school. The grades also were very low, and there were times that he was saying to our mother, that he doesn’t like to go to school. We were on analyzing the situation; at that time he was sick because he experienced seizure, until we consulted the doctor. We all know that seizure will affect the brain of the person, he undergo on EEG, CT scan, and we asked also the doctor that is it possible because of the seizure that’s why he got low grades. Those experiences bother us, because for everybody education is very important. Despite of those trials he graduated in high school but the grades as usual. We also tried to get scholarship for him, because he needs to pursue his studies, because we are not rich to support his studies. But because his grades were not attractive that time, so he did not make it to get the scholarship.

As his elder sister, I talked to him, that we are going to support his study if he will study well and he will give us an average grade. Even my husband doesn’t like to support my brother’s study, but because of my eagerness and the promise that my brother that he is going to be a good student.

In his 1st year in college, he has remarkable grades; if in elementary and high school he got low grades in college is a big change, he never experience low grade. Last week he gave me his grades and when I saw it I was amaze because he got 1.25 on his major subject. I am so very thankful, that we give him another chance, and I hope he will continue to study well and have focus on what his doing.

Just like the changes in Goldilocks, our family also changes, if my brother will finish his studies maybe he’ll be the one to bring pasulubong to his niece and nephews. Right now I only bring pasalubong for my son and a little for my brother. Since the store of Goldilocks is very near in my office, so before I go home, I buy first “pasalubong”.

What a tiring day!, i think because of the holiday yesterday, the workload got high...but i need to focus at the end i finished half of my workload.

As a usual day, when i'm about to leave maki woke up and asked me "mommy go out?mommy stay, don't leave maki". Every morning if i heard that words from my baby, i am thinking if i'm going to office or stay with him, i felt pity for my baby. I want to stay but i need to work.

You know what, later when we are about to sleep, i'm going to talk to maki and ask his permission to allow me to go to office tomorrow and i will promise to him that i will go back after office...cross finger...that maki will answer..."ok mommy".

After a few months of hibernating, now I'm back and wanting to write some nice and cool stuff about life and parenting. I just hope that everyone will read some of my work and things that I'll be posting here. Whatever it is!

Maki turning 2

It's been almost two years since i gave birth to my son. And now this coming October 24, 2009 we are going to celebrate his birthday. We are now on preparing for his day, as a matte of fact;I and my husband are filing a leave in our specific offices, to have time to buy clothes and other things for his birthday.

We are thinking what will be the theme...it can be a superhero or it can be a Hawaiian, because this coming Sunday we are going to attend our Church Anniversary. The theme will be Hawaiian, so we are going to buy Hawaiian clothes for him. We are thinking if that Hawaiian costume will be use for his birthday...what do you think?

Anyways, we have two weeks to go to prepare for that big event for my baby.

Hi, I'm back for almost 2 months, here i am.

It's a long long story, but to make the story short.......i have a lot of things to do...i need to be with my son...work work work...and of course for my hubby....LOL.

Now. I'm worried coz my son is sick, i will bring him later to his pedia..that's why i'm here with him. I did not go to office now, i just txt already my boss....

Imagine, earlier his temp goes to 38.8 so i immediately got the paracetamol...I don't know why he has a fever...

Hoping that his fine now...his sleeping right now, hugging his favorite pillow.

Here's something to share with mommies. This is from the babycenter.com and it gives information about the symptoms that we should know. Today I'm sharing about "Abdominal Pain"

Symptoms:	What it could be:
Less frequent bowel movements (especially if none in two or three days); obvious discomfort while passing stool; dry, hard stools; pain may occur on left side of abdomen. Common during toilet training.	Constipation
Stomach discomfort with no other symptoms; may occur after eating certain foods or drinking too much juice.	Indigestion
Vomiting; diarrhea; poor appetite; possibly fever.	Stomach bug or food poisoning
Bloating; gas; cramps; diarrhea.	Parasitic infection
Queasiness or stomach upset after or while riding in a car, boat, plane, or amusement ride; possibly vomiting.	Motion sickness
Congestion; runny nose; sneezing; sore throat; cough; achiness; possibly fever; sometimes stomach ache or vomiting caused by swallowing mucus.	Cold
Ear pain; fever over 100; possibly stomach upset, vomiting, and/or diarrhea; possibly fluid draining from ear.	Ear infection
Tenderness in pelvic area; possibly fever, nausea, or vomiting; need to urinate frequently; painful urination.	Urinary tract infection
Irritability after eating; gas; bloating; diarrhea; symptoms are worse the more dairy your child has had; child may drop in position on growth chart.	Lactose intolerance
May have dry, itchy rash on face, kneecaps, elbows; consistent allergic symptoms after eating a particular food, including any of these: itching and swelling of face, lips, or mouth; hives; watery eyes and runny nose; possibly vomiting, diarrhea, or difficulty breathing.	Food allergy Call 911 if your child is having trouble breathing
Seemingly fine one minute and then writhing in pain the next; vomiting; lethargic; passing bloody, mucusy stools. Most common between ages 6 months and 3 years.	Intussusception Call the doctor right away
Poor appetite; low-grade fever; possible vomiting; stomach pain that worsens over a few hours and seems to be in lower right quadrant or middle of abdomen.	Appendicitis Call the doctor right away
Lump in the genital area or near the navel that suddenly becomes larger, harder, or darker, and cannot be easily "pushed back in"; possible vomiting; writhing in pain.	Incarcerated hernia Call the doctor right away
Fever; fatigue; poor appetite; vomiting; abdominal discomfort; dark-colored urine; jaundice (yellowing of skin and eyes).	Hepatitis
Low energy; poor appetite; crankiness; constipation.	Lead poisoning

So the next time your babies, toddlers, and kids experienced abdominal pain better check on this. Hope that I could help with other moms.

I'm so happy because we have new companion to take good care of maki when i'm in the office, she's ate divina, a neighbor and a friend of my mother-in law. She's nice, of course at first maki don't want to be with ate divina, but late in the afternoon, they seems so close, but when i got home, he don't want to go to ate divina, he wants to stay with me all the time.

On the other hand, i'm so surprise now because i have the opportunity to chat to donna through ym. Donna is a friend of mine since high school, and a godmother of maki, she's in canada right now. She will back here in the philippines maybe some time in 2011, hopefully. But anyway, we talked a lot about our friends too. She just hoping that in God's time, the right man will come in her life. ...Thanks Donna!!!

It's time to sleep now because i'm sleepy again.

Worried Mom

Can you imagine?!!The instinct of a woman..................anyway!!!it's just goes like this.

Last nyt, i don't know..what happened to me, i can't sleep, i'm so worried, because i am just thinking who will be with my baby...because my cousin went back to bicol. And then monday morning we need to go to office my husband go to pampanga so he needs to prepare early, while me is just approximately 500 meters away my office from our house. But still, i'm not in the mood to work because i always thinking what happen to my baby...until lunch time..i call my mother-in-law. to ask how's maki....it's just a minute...that i heard from her that maki has a bruise on his forehead because he slips away, he cried and cried...it break my heart because i feel pity to my baby.

Then suddenly, i realized that because of the feeling last nyt, it just happen that maki got bruise on his forehead.. that's the instinct of a woman.....

But till now, im hoping that there is someone who will be with my son when i'm away...

Sleeping time again...nyt nyt..

Lonely days..........

Very sad....because my cousin who take good care of my son, when i'm in the office is leaving on sunday. She will stay with us til saturday, its very lonely. That's my big problem now, i am just thinking who will be replace to my cousin, don't know who will i get, where do i get.

We are planing to go to mall tommorrow, i just want to treat my cousin before she leaves us. Maybe after lunch we're going there and we will wait my husband to join us in a dinner somewhere in the mall.

Hopefully before end of this month, i will have new companion in our house to take good care of my 1 year and 8 months son.

It's time to sleep now, as usual my son is sleepy so mommy will sleep also.

why?because there were many things happened in our week end. Saturday, my husband and my son did not allow me to go to office, they want me to stay, before lunch we try to watched bee movie, because maki loves to watch movie. Afternoon, we went in a mall, and we bought new shoes for maki, daddy and maki has bonding moments when they chose which shoes we gonna bought, oh for about 5 minutes they found the shoes, oh its so expensive!and then we bought also socks, then we're ready for a birthday party.

And then sunday, we have a bonding moment with my mom and dad, they love maki so much.because its sunday so it is the time to go to my parents'house. then at nyt we watched bee movie again because of maki, then suddenly i saw maki sleeping, so its time for me to sleep but our daddy still in the computer.

Rainy day!!

It's raining outside, can you imagine we're stranded for almost 1 hour because of the heavy rains. But after an hour, the rain had stopped, and then i immediately went home to see my baby.

When i came home, i saw my baby watching bee movie, his so very happy. While watching he continously shout every time the character shout in the movie.

It's time for me to sleep because maki is crying now, he want me to sleep also.

Busy day!

What a busy day today......i have to finish my list of turnover for the new trainee for ecai, my employer. This coming June 30, 2009 will be my last day in ecai because i have to report to my new employer. I'm so excited for the new challenges and new co-employee.

But for now i need to explain everything to Mrs. Sales, the new trainee, everything she has to know. So talk and talk and talk until my mouth got dry, stop! i need to drink. After we had our lunch, it's time for me to sleep since we had an early luch. Exactly 12nn, my eyes got close........and then sleep....sleep....sleep... One hour later I woke up and got back to work.

Afternoon.... continuation of the orientation to Mrs. Sales. Then it was time already and 8hours had passed by...i need to go home to cook food for my baby. But before that, i need to go to the market to buy some food.

My baby loves to eat fish...imagine fish only, he don't want rice....

It's time for me to sleep....'till next time.
